Ina Grace Grohman

	Ina Grace Grohman, age 87, of Granite City, formerly of rural Tamaroa, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2001 in the Eden Village Nursing Home in Glen Carbon, Ill. at 3:15 a.m.
	Ina was born in Murphysboro December 1, 1913, the daughter of Joseph Alexander and Grace Mae (Giffen) Snowden.  She was united in marriage to Kenneth J.P. Grohman in Pinckneyville on January 16, 1936 and he survives.  Ina worked as a nurse at Medical Arts in Pinckneyville, was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Pinckneyville, member of the Senior Citizens, enjoyed quilting and crocheting and senior citizen bus tours.
	Ina is survived by her husband Kenneth J.P. Grohman of Glen Carbon; two daughters, Jacqueline Jacque Y. DeWitt and husband Kenneth of Granite City and Judith Judy Kay Smith and husband Richard of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Lakewood, Wash.; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Iva Faughn and Dorothy Hanna; one brother, Joseph Snowden and two brothers in infancy, Lloyd and Floyd.
	Funeral services were Thursday, February 22 at 11:30 a.m. at the St. Paul United Church of Christ in Pinckneyville with Pastor Herbert Schafale officiating.  Interment was in the Mueller Hill Cemetery in Pinckneyville.
	Friends called at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville Wednesday evening from 5 to 9 p.m. and again on the day of service from 8 until 10:30 a.m. then at the church until services.
	Memorials may be made to the Hoyleton Childrens Home.
